Lady Gaga Poster

You know, it hadn’t occurred to me until recently that the person behind an infamous piece of Lady Gaga fan art (which Ms. Gaga posted on her Twitter) was none other than Yamino of Sister Claire (reviewed here)! The poster, by the way, is available for purchase at TopatoCo, so if you’re either a Little Monster or a little Sister Claire fan, you might want this hanging on your bedroom/door/rec room wall.

About El Santo

Somehow ended up reading and reviewing almost 300 different webcomics. Life is funny, huh? Despite owning two masks, is not actually a luchador.

  1. Who’s Lady Gaga?

    • Yes, Vetty, there is a Lady Gaga. She (or he?) exists as certainly as love and generosity and outlandish outfits exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Lady Gaga. It would be as dreary as if there were no Vettys. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no dresses made out of the heads of Kermit the Frog to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. The eternal light with which The Fame Monster fills the world would be extinguished.

Not believe in Lady Gaga! You might as well not believe in Madonna! You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the MTV Music Awards to catch Lady Gaga trot out amputee dancers, but even if they did not see Lady Gaga on stage, what would that prove? Nobody sees Lady Gaga, especially under those layers of Judy Jetson fabric, but that is no sign that there is no Lady Gaga. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that’s no proof that Lady Gaga did not. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.

No Lady Gaga! Thank God! she (or he?) lives, and she lives forever. A thousand years from now, Vetty, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, she will continue to make glad the heart of excitable teens, pre-teens, and adults who probably should know better.

  2. So it was just after coming back to this page to take a screencap of that comment to share with a friend who I knew would enjoy it that my brother sent me a link via stumbleupon to a simply amazing webcomic. So I thought I might share it here, don’t know if you’ve seen it:

  3. Huh. Looks like for April Fools, Sister Claire has temporarily become “Lady Naga and her Little Monsters.” Which is actually pretty sweet.
